Advisors

An advisor to HWI is not a director. This is a critical distinction with many legal implications. Every advisor is specifically asked to serve on behalf of a particular local seminar OR they are asked to serve at-large on behalf of a particular organization as the lead liaison to HWI.

All advisors serve an informal organizational role, yet they fill a vital function to connect HWI to and within a broader watershed community of guides, outdoor educators, outfitters, resource managers, public agencies, and others with a shared interest in watershed education seminars for professional guides.
